Our Founder
Matt Glodz is the founder of Portico Executive Search, a boutique recruitment firm that specialises in the global hotel, travel and real estate sectors.
With over a decade of experience spanning executive career strategy, hotel development and airline revenue management, Matt brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to each search.
Before founding Portico, Matt built Resume Pilots and CV Pilots into leading executive career consultancies, working directly with C-suite leaders across hospitality, real estate and finance. He led both firms through to successful acquisition.
Earlier in his career, he held roles in Feasibility and Investment Analysis at Hilton and Revenue Management at United Airlines. He was also a course facilitator for Cornell’s executive certificate programmes in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science with Distinction from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, with minors in Real Estate and Italian Studies.
As President of the Cornell Hotel Society’s London chapter and Member of the Cornell Real Estate Council, Matt remains closely connected to the global hospitality and real estate sectors.
