Acquisitions & Development Manager (London)

Overview
Our client is a rapidly expanding business in the serviced accommodation and corporate housing sector. They are seeking an Acquisitions & Development Manager to lead their property growth strategy across London and the broader EMEA region.

The Opportunity
This senior role combines strategic vision, commercial negotiation and hands-on execution.

Reporting to the Head of Real Estate EMEA, the successful candidate will drive the sourcing, structuring and execution of new property leases and management agreements, while cultivating key relationships with developers, asset owners, and agents.

The position offers the chance to directly influence portfolio expansion in major European cities and to lead and mentor junior team members in a fast-growing, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the EMEA property acquisition strategy, securing targeted unit growth each month.

  • Identify and pursue hotel, serviced apartment, and co-living opportunities in established and emerging markets.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with developers, landlords, and agents.

  • Structure and negotiate commercial leases, management contracts, and hotel management agreements.

  • Lead due diligence and ensure smooth transaction execution.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate opportunities and portfolio performance.

  • Oversee the operational handover of properties to ensure readiness for launch.

  • Prepare investment proposals and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to junior team members.

Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years’ experience in real estate, hospitality, or commercial property.

  • Proven track record in sourcing and closing property deals in the UK and European markets.

  • Strong expertise in structuring and negotiating commercial agreements.

  • Advanced Excel-based financial modelling skills.

  • Solid understanding of the EMEA real estate market, particularly in major urban centres.

  • Experience leading small teams or mentoring junior colleagues.

  • Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.

  • Background in hospitality, serviced accommodation, or build-to-rent is advantageous.

Compensation

£80,000-85,000
